We just noticed that using Alias ID as your Anti Boot, might not prevent you from being booted. Using alias ID (in inactive) mode, usually make us unable to be booted, but for some reason, such as the booter usee Voice Boot or Webcam Invite, we still able to get booted. So be ware

I believe if we can get boot from Yahoo Messenger, its will also at Windows Live Messenger. I am just wondering how we can protect from being boot in MSN or WLM. But I am sure that in Windows Live Messenger, that until know I didn't notice there provide a chat room, the boot attack not as much as happen when we used Yahoo Messenger.

Personally, I used WLM rarely. I never explore Windows Live Messenger. If I found how to make anti boot for WLM, I promise that I will write in this blog. Or you have an Idea?

Mobile Phone Anti Boot

I even don't know how we can handle a boot that attack in our mobile phone chat. Sometime boot sent to mobile phone are quite dangerous because the mobile phone doesn't have enough memory resource like in desktop or in notebook. I just wondering how we protect our mobile phone. If we got boot while we are in mobile, I believe our mobile phone would be hang.

The only solutions that I found is, just shut down you mobile phone as fast as you knew that you being booted by someone else when you are in mobile. To avoid being booted: make sure you are invisible and not chat with "dangerous" person. Hope this will solve the problem.

YUK Chat Client for Linux

You knew that Yahoo.inc did not release Yahoo Messenger for linux user. Even they release for Mac. But I recently noticed that You can use YUK as Chat Client of Yahoo Messenger for Linux User. This seem a wonderful YM chat client in Linux. The interface almost look the official one. I am not sure if this chat client enable to be used as ANti Boot. What is The Best Chat Client for Anti Boot ?

I always search and seek to find the better chat client of yahoo messenger to handle boot attack. Sometime I feel satisfied with one of yahoo messenger chat client, but as time goes by, I am stuck in bad mood (boring using that chat client). Then, I over and over again try to install and test a new chat client available in world web wide. What I got so far is, there is no chat client that will satisfies us. One chat client to another has a unique features or badness and goodness.

For that reason, I wonder what of all chat client to be the best chat client for Anti Boot? My answers is Yahaven 2.5 (over) with Ghost ID and Chat Shield, and Yazak also with Ghost ID.

Prepare two id first. One ID must have public IDs or alias name.

Login with one of your id. Then go to chat room with Your Alias Name (not the main ID or primary ID).

Then open ghost ID mode. Login in with your second ID for Ghost ID.

Now Activate Chat Shield.

I just knew that yahoo server can make us unbootable, but, this trick not tested yet. I inquiring how some of yahoo server can be used as anti boot. I though that this is impossible or not logic. But it depend on the number of user use the yahoo server. If the user not quite enough or only few used that server may be its can be used to anti boot.

Ghost ID in Yahaven

I just knew that Yahaven has a Ghost ID, just like in Yazak. With Ghost ID you can make your self unbootable because of Ghost ID just will protect your real ID from being booted. Ghost ID need another yahoo ID that will cover your real ID. If some one boot you, he just boot your Ghost ID not your real ID. Its very effective for combating boot attack from lamer or booter.

Computer Hang Because of Boot Send

Sometime we noticed that our computer turn to not work or hang because of hundred or thousand ID bots that been sent bye boot software. The good news is, we can protect our windows to showing PM bots by some trick such as using ignore list, or public ID. But, if you have a good performance of your computer or high speed and memory, this you can avoid to use this trick.
